Leicester City have bolstered their squad with the arrival of Polish teenage winger Bartosz Kapustka for a reported £7.5 million from Cracovia.
The 19-year-old has signed a five-year deal at the King Power Stadium.
Kapustka shone at Euro 2016 for his country, with a starring role in Poland’s 1-0 opening game win over Northern Ireland.
"Yes, of all the offers tabled, Leicester wanted me the most," Kapustka told Telewizja Polska before the move was completed.
"Ranieri's interest was a big factor for me. He was asking about me, he wanted me to join the team. This convinced me, but there were many factors."
VIEW FROM POLAND
Krzysztof Srogosz (Eurosport Poland): We haven't seen such a promising player in Poland for a few years. It seems Robert Lewandowski or Grzegorz Krychowiak were a little weaker at his age. Kapustka is very fast, skilful, creative, technically good - although he has a small problem assessing situations. He is a strong tackler and regularly slots in the defence, as he showed at the Euros. He outgrew the Polish league and, at 19, can quickly develop at Leicester. It is a very good move for him and his new club.
OUR VIEW
Marcus Foley at Euro 2016 (after Poland v Northern Ireland): The 19-year-old glides when in possession, has a keen eye for a pass but, most impressively of all, has a calming influence on those around him. He has an innate understanding of the game, which informs his pitch perfect decision making. Of course, Kapustka still has much to learn but he has a base level of talent that could elevate him to the upper echelons of European football.
