Alves to choose between PSG and Juventus

Alves is leaving Camp Nou for free this summer due to a clause in his contract, and Mundo Deportivo reports a deal with Juve was almost complete before he had second thoughts.

PSG remain in pursuit of the right-back, having tried to get Alves to France in the past, and the presence of a number of compatriots and friends at the club - including Thiago Silva, David Luiz and Lucas Moura - has thrown the defender’s decision into doubt.

Both clubs are offering a two-year contract with an option for a third - but PSG’s is lower. They have, however, had a long-standing interest in Alves and he was close to making the move to Ligue 1 a year ago before renewing with Barca.
