Antoine Griezmann says he is ‘almost 100 per cent sure’ Diego Simeone will stay at Atletico Madrid.

Griezmann told Bein Sports that he had spoken to him about his future after suggestions that he could quit in the wake of Atletico’s Champions League Final defeat to Real Madrid.

“He won’t go," said Griezmann. "I spoke with him and in relation to what he said I’m almost 100 per cent sure he will stay with us.

"I’d be annoyed if he left because I need to continue learning from him. I love working with him and if I’m still at Atletico it’s because I want to continue working with him and with the team."
