What a game that was! Barca played some great stuff, especially once they started trying, but finished terribly. At the same time, Inui scored two jazzers, and Yoel made a succession of outstanding saves. But it doesn't really matter: Real Madrid win La Liga!
Full-time: Barcelona 4-2 Eibar
WHAT A GOAL! Barcelona 4-2 Eibar (Messi) Messi takes the ball on halfway, motors forward, ducks inside his man, skirts around three more, and drives a low shot to Yoel's right. For most, that's the best goal they've ever scored; for Messi, it's not even top 30.
SUAREZ MISSES ANOTHER! Sent clear through the middle yet again, he has so much time, but looks to slot to Yoel's left - it's a little lackadaisical, really - but another fine save.
There shall be three added minutes.
Neymar stretches into space and finds Suarez, who backheels back to him. But he can't quite control, much to his buddy's consternation.
Gerry reckons Madrid have been the league's outstanding team this season. Which is quite a statement, given that they're about two minutes away from clinching the title.
There's nowt going down here. Eibar have more or less given up.
Anyway, things have quietened down a little now.
This Barca team are silly - they just have so many ways to hurt you. What they don't have is the midfield control that they had with Xavi and Madrid now have with Modric and Kroos, that protects a suss defence.
Enrich is off, and Alex Galvez is on.
Busquets lifts a pass over the top for Neymar, who volleys into the middle, only for Suarez to plop a header into Yoel's arms from five yards.
Phew! This is a ridiculous game.
GOAL! Barcelona 3-2 Eibar (Messi pen) Messi wallops his kick again, again to the keeper's left, and again he gets a touch, but this time it's closer to the corner and Yoel can't keep it out.
ANOTHER PENALTY TO BARCA! AND A RED CARD! Neymar, who's been great in the second half, isolates Capa, goes outside him, allows the slide tackle to flatten him, and then watches the ref produce a second yellow card.
GOAL! Barcelona 2-2 Eibar (Suarez) Barca win a corner down the left and it's hit perfectly flat and hard to the near post. So Alcacer flicks on and Suarez poaches it home at the back post.
Aclacer is on for Rakitic.
By the way, Pedro Leon is on for Pena.
OH, WHAT A SAVE! Messi absolutely leathers his kick, just left of centre, but Yoel dives the right way and deflects the ball over the bar!
PENALTY FOR BARCA! WHAT ON EARTH! Alba cuts inside, falls over with no one near him, and the ref points to the spot!
John Toshack once said that 90 minutes in the Bernabeu is a long time - 25 minutes is going to feel like that for Eibar.
It's all Barca now, and Messi picks a pass through to Neymar who comes inside Arbilla, opening up the angle to go back across Yoel, only to drill wide! "You've gotta hit the target if you want to score goals," says Gerry Armstrong, sagely.
Could that Eibar goal fire Barca to play with requisite intensity?
GOAL! Barcelona 1-2 Eubar (Junca, o.g.) Nice from Messi, driving at the heart of the Eibar defence, drawing men to him and flicking wide to Neymar. He laces a low shot off the base of the post and Junca can't sort his feet out to clear, instead ineptly deflecting into the open net. "There was nothing he could do," says Gerry Armstrong. No, nothing whatsoever.
WHAT A GOAL! Barcelona 0-2 Eibar (Inui) Kike does well down the right and clips back a cross that Enrich moves on to Inui. The ball bounces once, twice, and then he spanks a fantastic shot in off the bar! Another brilliant finish!
Barca have made enough huge chances to win three games.
REAL MADRID ARE GOING TO WIN LA LIGA! Benzema has scored, and they lead Malaga 2-0!
WHAT ANOTHER MISS! Iniesta sends Suarez through the middle and he should just stick it away, but instead squares to Messi, who comes inside onto his right foot, taking the ball too close to keeper and defender before tapping wide! Oh I say!
Arbilla slides in to prevent Suarez from getting away, getting trampled in the process. He's hurt and also wasting time, showing the ref the hole in his sock, but we're soon away again.
Barca are coming now, Messi running into traffic but frocing the ball against shins so that it comes back to Iniesta. Again he shoots, and again Yoel saves.
Excellent from Neymar, skirting around the left and cutting back for Iniesta, who donkey-kicks across goal. He's not scored this season, and he still hasn't - Yoel pushes his shot away with hands strong enough to prevent Suarez knocking home the rebound.
Inui works some space down the left and skins Rakitic before nipping along the by-line and going for goal. But Ter Stegen protects his near post well, conceding a corner which comes to nowt.
Off we go! Barca bring on Andre Gomes for Sergi Roberto, and are playing three at the back.
Back come the players. Unless Malaga and Barcelona score a minimum two goals, Madrid will be champions.
Let's be honest: Barca don't look all that arsed about this one. They're still passing and moving, it's true, but without much intensity. If they don't improve after the break, they could easily lose.
Eibar, meanwhile, are defending ok and looking likely going forward. They've enjoyed themselves so far.
Half-time: Barcelona 0-1 Eibar
THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST MISSES I'VE EVER SEEN! Inui cuts inside onto his right foot and curls a shot towards the far corner. Ter Stegen gets down to it, but can only palm the ball back into play, directly to the feet of Pena! somehow, from three yards, he sidefoots wide! It's amazing!
A long pass from Rakitic sends Busquets galloping away down the right. I know! But Capa hares back to win the ball back, and Busquets trots back to his usual spot.
In Malaga, the home team have not given things up - their latest chance has just been headed over the bar.
Lovely clip over the top from Iniesta, finding Mess. But he can't can't decide whether to go for goal - the angle is acute - or head back across - the sensible option - so picks out the keeper instead.
SUAREZ MISSES AGAIN! Sent bounding through the middle, he shoots low, but Yoel guesses correctly and goes down to his right, getting just enough on the ball to send it behind.
Good run from Roberto, outside Messi and round the side. He then clips back for Rakitic, who meets the ball on the half-volley, but can't get it wide enough of Yoel.
Barca have slowed things down. I guess they'll assume things will eventually go their way, without exhausting themselves before the Cup final.
Capa is foxed by Iniesta's clever first touch, so trips him and is booked.
Seriously, what is wrong with people?
Alba screeches down the left and crosses for Neymar, arriving at the near post, but Junca does really well to hold his position and lever yerman out of the way. Neymar wants a penalty, but the ref is having no such thing.
Dani Garcia slides in and hacks down Sergi Roberto, doing well to avoid a booking.
LKuscious football from Barca, some kind of backheel-type thing from Alba which Neymar allows to hit his standing leg, thereby finding Messi. He can't quite keep up with the ball, but that was lovely nonetheless.
Over in Malaga, Keylor Navas has just made a fine save from a free-kick to preserve Madrid's advantage.
Lovely from Neymar, jinking inside one man before dinking a wedge over several, looking for Messi. But the ball skips off the turf and just about runs away from him. Lovely play, though.
Eibar are finding it hard to get the ball now. Iniesta and Rakitic have started to play, while Alba and Roberto are stretching down the flanks.
Barcelona are going to score shortly. Messi volleys a lovely first time ball to set Suarez away, and he looks to return the compliment but Lejeune manages to intercede.
Wonderful from Iniesta, beating two men and finding Alba down the left. His cut-back is turned in by Suarez, but it turns out that Alba went just too soon. Good decision from the linesman.
Sergi Roberto raids down the right and squares for Suarez, who looks to curl a left-footer. But he can't get the necessary draw and the ball flies wide.
Eibar win another corner, Kike with it, and Barcelona have no idea what they're doing at the back. In the end they get the ball away, but they'll need to score three to win this by the look of things.
I'm still reeling from that miss.
WHAT A MISS! Arbilla's lax backpass sends Suarez through the middle, and he draws the keeper. Really, he could do anything, but opts for a difficult finish, using the outside of his right boot, and sending the ball past the post! What was he thinking?!
GOAL! Barcelona 0-1 Eibar (Inui) What a finish this is! Dani Garcia'zs long, raking cross from the right finds Inui on the far side of the box - Sergi Roberto is all over the show - and he caresses a half-volley into the roof of the net via the underside of the bar.
Whatever happens tonight, what a season it's been for Eibar. And...
Barca are doing their best, Neymar breaking down the left to win a corner. It comes to nowt.
Rrrrrrridiculous. Ronaldo has already scored for Madrid, rounding the keeper after being put through by Isco.
Camp Nou is pretty sparsely populated. Maybe it'll fill up if Malaga gerragoal.
Off we go!
The referee is old Hernandez Hernandez.
"Forever one of us" reads the banner celebrating Luis Enrique.
Out come the players...
Eibar are "very much in their change colours", as opposed to "in their change colours".
It's a nice day in Barcelona. I know!
So what do Barcelona do next season? They need a replacement for Iniesta, but how else do they improve? Do they just hope for better with a new manager?
Of course, tonight is also Luis Enrique's last league game in charge of Barcelona. After this, just the Copa del Rey final against Alaves to go.
However did we cope before all this jazz?
Barcelona's official Twitter feed is in English; the Spanish one announces itself as such. Weird.
Evening! Barcelona are going to rinse Eibar. But it won't matter, unless Malaga can beat Real Madrid. Sounds simple enough.
