Zlatan Ibrahimovic: I'm 10 times better than anyone else

Even by his standards, this is quite the claim from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The PSG superstar was given the Guldbollen for being Sweden's best player on Monday night in a glittering awards ceremony in Stockholm.
It's the 10th time that the former Barcelona and Inter Milan star has won the award, and the ninth time in a row; only Freddie Ljungberg's efforts in 2006 (when he fired Arsenal to the Champions League final) have stopped Ibrahimovic from locking out the award since 2005.
So what did the notoriously wacky star say in his acceptance speech? Let's just say he did it Zlatan-style:
"This makes me think of my time as a junior football player in Malmö," he told the crowd.
"I used to sit in the locker room, looking around, and thinking: 'To succeed I have to be 10 times better than everyone else'. But if feels like I have already managed that. There is no more to say. I have made history again and again.
"I hope someone else gets to experience what I have experienced. The joy can't be described."
While Zlatan confidently predicted this time last year that he would collect the Guldbollen once more in 2015, he doesn't now sound so sure about 2016. The 34-year-old's contract is up next June, and despite rumours of interest from Manchester United he seems likely to end up taking the late-career cash on offer in the MLS - something which he himself suggested might prevent him from being his country's number one.
"Last year, I promised to come here to collect my 10th Golden Ball. I don't know if I can promise the same thing for next year."
