BRAD JONES: Distribution was good but did not have that many chances to save. 6
KOLO TOURE: Steady enough at the back. 5
MARTIN SKRTEL: At fault for Arsenal's crucial equaliser just before half-time but redeemed himself with a thumping header to earn a point. 6
MAMADOU SAKHO: First start since mid-September but did not show too many signs of his lack of action, especially up against Alexis Sanchez. 6
LUCAS LEIVA: Busy in front of the defence as usual and even got forward to have a couple of shooting opportunities. 7
STEVEN GERRARD: Kept the midfield ticking over with plenty of the ball. Set-piece delivery not up to usual high standards. 6
JORDAN HENDERSON: Did a good enough job combining elements of defence and attack and offered an outlet on the right, especially late in the game. 6
LAZAR MARKOVIC: The Serbian appears to be growing in confidence and was excellent in the first half, although he faded after the break. 7
ADAM LALLANA: Knitted together midfield and attack and was always an available option to receive the ball. 7
RAHEEM STERLING: Thankless task as the central striker but came into the game more in the second half. Pace a continual threat. 7
PHILIPPE COUTINHO: Most energetic and threatening performance for some time. Took his goal well and could have had more. 7
SUBSTITUTES
FABIO BORINI (on for Markovic, 74): Added an injection of energy when Liverpool needed but overdid it and his two bookings were reckless. 5
RICKIE LAMBERT (on for Toure, 81): Final throw of the dice but not given enough time to have an impact. 5
ARSENAL
WOJCIECH SZCZESNY: Made one good save from Borini in the second half but was helpless for both goals. 6
CALUM CHAMBERS: Struggled against pace of Markovic and looked uncomfortable most of the game. 4
MATHIEU DEBUCHY: Did not look entirely comfortable at centre-back but came up with the crucial equaliser. 6
PER MERTESACKER: Troubled by the pace of Sterling, Coutinho and Markovic. 5
KIERAN GIBBS: Did not get forward as much as he would have liked as he had to contend with Lallana's movement. 5
MATHIEU FLAMINI: Fortunate not to receive two yellows. Game appeared to pass him by, particularly in the first half. 4
SANTI CAZORLA: Came into the game more after the break when the space opened up. 6
ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN: Looked overwhelmed in midfield as the ball was pinged about. 5
OLIVIER GIROUD: Took his goal well but did little to trouble Liverpool's notoriously shaky back line. 5
DANNY WELBECK: Found himself doing a lot of running to counteract Liverpool's possession and movement and was never a threat going forward. 5
ALEXIS SANCHEZ: Offered little in an attacking sense but won the free-kick which led to their equaliser. 6
Substitutes:
FRANCIS COQUELIN (on for Giroud, 82): Sent on to provide fresh legs but Arsenal were defending for most of his spell on the pitch. 5
JOEL CAMPBELL (on for Oxlade-Chamberlain, 90): No time to make an impact. 5
NACHO MONREAL (on for Sanchez, 90+4): Late time-wasting substitution. 4.
