Newey in U's exit

Oxford defender Tom Newey has left the club by mutual consent.

The 32-year-old arrived at the Kassam in 2013 but has struggled for game time this season, spending a spell on loan with the U's League Two rivals Northampton before Christmas.

He departs having made 62 appearances for Oxford.
