If Barcelona's lawyers are able to get their transfer ban lifted, it seems their first order of business could be a raid for the Welshman.

Barcelona want to buy Ramsey - Arsenal may be subject to another raid from Barcelona. The Sun claims that the Catalans are ready to submit a £50 million bid for Aaron Ramsey with the hope that they can make it nine buys from Arsenal since 2000. Barcelona are currently the subject of a transfer ban, but they are hoping to get it lifted by the summer. If not, they can agree the deal this summer but then have Ramsey stay at Arsenal until the ban is over in January.
Paper Round's view - Ramsey would certainly fit in the Barcelona midfield and if they are looking to make a big addition in the centre of the park then the Welshman might be the best option after Paul Pogba. But being a good fit and being able to make a deal happen are two very different things. It's unlikely that Arsenal would sell Ramsey unless it was for a massive price, maybe more than £50m. And on top of that, they won't want to agree a deal that could see a key player leave in January - what if they are still in title contention at that stage, for example? Barcelona will need to get their transfer ban lifted for this deal to happen, which looks unlikely.

Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger is on Louis van Gaal's summer wish-list

Man United eyeing Schweinsteiger - Louis van Gaal is ready to make a move for Bastian Schweinsteiger, according to The Telegraph. The German has refused to sign a new deal at Bayern Munich and his contract expires next summer. That means the midfielder's status in Munich is a bit of a mystery and with Van Gaal hoping to add an experienced midfielder this summer, he sees an opportunity with Schweinsteiger.
Paper Round's view - Man United need to improve their midfield and Schweinsteiger would do that. Bayern Munich won't want to let him go, but his contract situation complicates things and it wouldn't be a shock if Schweinsteiger wanted to play for Van Gaal again. The problem is United's midfield is already a bit older than they'd like, and Schweinsteiger is 30 years old. That seems unlikely to stop Van Gaal, though, who has been targeting several older players - a policy that might come back to bite the club in a couple of years.

Yaya Toure's agent says the midfielder is near certain to leave Manchester City this summer

Inter optimistic about deal for Toure - Inter Milan think that they are close to wrapping up a deal for Yaya Toure, but The Times says that the Italian club have yet to submit a formal bid for the midfielder. There are still questions about whether they can afford Toure's wages - £200,000 a week at City - in addition to the £10m transfer fee that Man City would demand, while the Citizens also want to line up a replacement for the Ivorian before they sell him. Still, the Italians are optimistic.
Paper Round's view - The most difficult part of this potential deal will be Inter finding the money to make it happen. £10m for the transfer fee and wages exceeding £200,000-per-week is a huge commitment for a club that isn't making a ton of money. They know how much Toure wants in wages and how much City wants in a fee so negotiations aren't going to be a big hurdle. it's about finding the cash and that will probably continue to take some time and work on Inter's behalf.

Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva hopes to make his first Wembley appearance

Liverpool may sell Lucas to Inter with Milner set to come in - Liverpool are willing to listen to offers for Lucas Leiva and The Mirror believes that Inter MIlan will make a move for him. Brendan Rodgers believes that he'll be able to sign up James Milner, making Lucas a bit expendable. Inter tried to buy Lucas in January, but Liverpool said no. Now, they may let him go.
Paper Round's view - If Liverpool are able to sign Milner, Lucas may very well go. Milner is hardly a like-for-like replacement, but Rodgers wants a midfielder who is a little more offensive-minded so he may just consider Milner an improvement and leave it at that. Lucas is 28 years old now so if the Reds don't sell him soon, they may never get a lot in return for him. The question is whether Lucas will want a move, which he may not considering Liverpool is the only European club he's ever known and his family is settled there.

Erik Lamela scored his first Premier League goal to seal victory for Tottenham against Burnley

Juventus may bid for Lamela - Juventus are considering making a move for Erik Lamela, accorinding to The Mail. Lamela has struggled since signing with Spurs two years ago, but Mauricio Pochettino does like him so he won't come cheap. Juventus want to add a young player to play behind their strikers and think Lamela could be that man.
Paper Round's view - Pochettino undoubtedly likes Lamela and the winger has shown that he can contribute at Spurs, even if he hasn't met expectations. Still, if someone submits a big bid for the 23-year-old, Pochettino probably won't fight to keep him and Daniel Levy will almost certainly want to sell. It's just a matter of how badly Juve want him, but it's tough to see them spending upwards of £20m on Lamela, no matter how good he was at Roma before.

Steve McClaren of Derby County

McClaren to get the sack at Derby - Steve McClaren's time at Derby appears to be coming to an end. The Telegraph understands that the club will sack McClaren and hire Real Madrid assistant Paul Clement to replace him. The Rams aren't happy that McClaren failed to lead the team to promotion with just two wins in their final 12 matches and were even more upset that he flirted with the Newcastle job during the final weeks of the season.
Paper Round's view - McClaren is a good manager who had Derby flying, but their late season collapse can't be overlooked. That he was so interested in Newcastle and showed that he may leave the Rams didn't help his case either. Meanwhile, Clement is one of the most highly regarded assistants in the world and has experience not just with big clubs, but in the Premier League. He's also likely to be committed to the Rams with them giving him his first job so they don't have to worry about their manager leaving for a bigger club in the near future.
