Reports: Chelsea closing in on Juan Cuadrado deal

Speculation has gathered pace that the clubs have agreed a fee close to the Colombian’s buyout clause, with the inclusion of Mohamed Salah on a loan deal.

On from reports that Cuadrado has bid farewell to team-mates in Florence and is flying out to London this evening, it is reiterated that the Blues are accelerating plans to complete his capture.

Gianluca Di Marzio is running the line this evening that terms between Chelsea and Fiorentina are agreed, and that the only sticking point is the details relating to Salah’s temporary switch in the other direction.

Di Marzio reiterates that contracts are already being drafted and that the intention from Chelsea is to complete the deal as soon as possible, so as to have Cuadrado in the squad for this weekend’s match with Manchester City.
