Van Persie to leave United for Fenerbahce: Robin van Persie will have just one season left on his contract this summer and isn't sure about signing a new deal with Manchester United. That could result in his leaving the club and The Sun claims that Fenerbahce are ready to snap him up. The Turkish club would give the 31-year-old giant wages and allow him to play with Netherlands team-mate Dirk Kuyt. The paper says that Van Persie is ready to walk out and move on with his career, seeking one more big deal.
Paper Round's view: The Dutchman's injury problems have kept him sidelined for chunks of the season and left him in inconsistent form when he has played. With Louis van Gaal wanting more dependability and willing to spend big in the transfer market to get it, Van Persie may be phased out. Now on the wrong side of 30, there aren't many big paydays left in his future and Fenerbahce would offer him a giant one. Not only that, but Fenerbahce may also give him a chance at Champions League football. This move could well work for both parties.

Arsenal planning swoop for Sterling: Raheem Sterling has put off contract talks with Liverpool until the summer, and Arsenal are hoping to swoop in and sign the 20-year-old then, according to The Mirror. Arsene Wenger is a big fan of Sterling and while nearly every big club will be looking to sign the player, Arsenal have already been checking in on Sterling's availability and willingness to join the Gunners.
Paper Round's view: We still don't know if anyone will be able to sign Sterling. He could very well agree to a new deal with Liverpool and scupper everyone's plans, but if he does become available, Real Madrid, Manchester City and a host of other clubs with deep pockets will be interested. So Arsenal have to be prepared if they want to sign him, and that means capable of paying out huge wages. The fact that Sterling reportedly wants to stay in England might help, while promising him the keys to the attack after spending the last few months as a wingback would also be a plus. Furthermore, Arsenal's early interest in the player may have seen them steal a march on their rivals if the player becomes available.

Modric to top Man City's wish list: Luka Modric could be available this summer and if he is, The Star believes Manchester City will lead the pack to sign him. Real Madrid want to sign Paul Pogba and doing so would require clearing room in the midfield, as well as on their books for Financial Fair Play. Selling Modric would do just that and City adore him meaning that they would be willing to spend £25 million to bring him back to the Premier League.
Paper Round's view: Pogba will create ripples throughout the transfer market this summer and if he signs with Real Madrid, the Merengues will have to make changes. Modric could very well be one of them, and there aren't many clubs good enough and with enough money to afford him. Man City is one of them, and with the team set for an overhaul this summer, Modric would be a logical signing to sort out a midfield in need of improvement.

City looking to sign Juve's Morata: Manchester City like Alvaro Morata and are hoping to sign him this summer, per The Mirror. Morata was a top prospect in the Real Madrid system before moving to Juventus and scored his first goal for Spain last week. The Citizens were interested in him before he moved to Juventus and are once again in pursuit of the striker.
Paper Round's view: Any transfer for Morata would be complicated because he's currently on a two-year loan deal with Juventus, which includes a clause for Real Madrid to pay to take him back. That means Manchester City would have to get both Juventus and Real Madrid on board to get a deal done and negotiating with one team is hard enough. They'd have to do two. The Citizens would also have to offload Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic, although that looks likely to happen this summer even if Morata doesn't join up.

Liverpool could move for Derby starlet: Will Hughes has starred for Derby and the England U-21s over the last two years, and Liverpool are hoping that he will do the same for them come next season. The Star believes that Brendan Rodgers is ready to spend £15 million to secure the 19-year-old's services, but that the offer is on hold because Derby are unlikely to sell if they gain promotion to the Premier League.
Paper Round's view: Derby are down to fifth in the Championship. They still have a chance at automatic promotion, but it's much more likely that they would have to get it through the unpredictable play-offs. If Derby can't secure automatic promotion and Hughes becomes available, they have to be the favourites. The Reds were in for Hughes a year ago before he signed a new deal at Derby and have a relationship there, while no other club has demonstrated as much desire to land the midfielder.
