Chelsea’s John Terry posts image of his trophy cabinet

John Terry has delighted and annoyed fans (depending on your perspective) by posting a photo of his personal trophy cabinet on social media.
The Chelsea captain clearly decided to use some of his holiday time to reflect upon his trophy-laden career so far – and his collection really is pretty impressive.
Tery, who played in every minute of every game as Chelsea won the Premier League title, posted the photograph on Instagram.
The 34-year-old captioned the image, ‘johnterry.26’ with a picture of a trophy.
All of Terry's four Premier League trophies can be seen on display, as can a replica of the Champions League trophy, which Chelsea won in 2012 by beating Bayern Munich on penalties.
Two League Cup trophies are also on show, the last of which Terry won in 2014-15 as Chelsea beat Tottenham 2-0 in the final.
Terry has also won the FA Cup on five occasions and he boasts a replica of the trophy for the oldest cup competition in the world in his cabinet.
In total, Terry has won a staggering 14 major honours with his boyhood club.
The former England captain will begin his quest to further add to his packed trophy cabinet as Chelsea take on Swansea City on August 8 at Stamford Bridge.
He has previously posted an image of all the captain's armbands he has worn through his career on his Instagram page.
“I save all my captain’s armbands from every game I play in," he said at the time. "This is a small collection.”
OUR VIEW
Inevitably, Terry's post on the social-media network divided opinion amongst fans with many believing his photo was arrogant and provocative, while others thought it was brilliant. Frankly, there's not much wrong with Terry posting an image of photos that he's won with Chelsea and it gives fans a nice insight into how he remembers his triumphs. Many other sports stars claim to have their medals and trophies in their lofts or lost entirely, so it's nice to think that some cherish their silverware.
