It’s that time of year again, when everyone is giving their views on the big questions ahead of the Premier League’s opening weekend. Can Chelsea retain the title? Will Bournemouth survive amongst the big boys?

So, our team has come together to give their answers and more predictions for the campaign ahead. Of course, many of us are certain about the outcomes. But there is only one result that is already confirmed – we can’t all be correct and some of us will end up looking foolish.
So, without further ado, here is what we think will happen this season.
Champions, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place
Despite their relative lack of spending compared with their rivals, Chelsea have come out on top in our office – with a few plumping for Manchester clubs after their big signings over the summer.
The Champions League places are dominated by the usual suspects, though Liverpool has crept into one top four.

Relegation places – 18th, 19th, 20th.
Unsurprisingly the promoted teams are favourites at Eurosport to occupy the basement positions.
But often one of the sides that come up manages to pull away from the others into mid-table respectability. Will that happen this year?
Alex Chick: Newcastle, Leicester, Norwich.
Ben Snowball: Norwich, Aston Villa, Watford.
Liam Happe: Watford, Norwich, Bournemouth.
Dan Quarrell: Watford, Norwich, Bournemouth.
Tom Adams: Aston Villa, Leicester, Norwich.

Chris Wheatley: Bournemouth, Watford, Leicester.
Desmond Kane: Leicester, Watford, Bournemouth.
Kevin Coulson: Sunderland, Watford, Leicester.
Top Scorer
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is perhaps an easy option for us here. With David Silva, Yaya Toure and now Raheem Sterling supplying the ammunition, he is sure to get chances.
But can he stay fit following a long summer where he played for Argentina in the Copa America?
Alex Chick: Wayne Rooney (Manchester United).
Ben Snowball: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City).
Liam Happe: Sergio Aguero.
Dan Quarrell: Diego Costa (Chelsea).
Tom Adams: Sergio Aguero.
Toby Keel: Sergio Aguero.
Chris Wheatley: Harry Kane (Tottenham).
Desmond Kane: Sergio Aguero.
Kevin Coulson: Sergio Aguero.

PFA Player of the Year
Strikers dominate our list – as they tend to in the results as well – but with a so many attack-minded midfielders among the top clubs, perhaps one of them will pick up the award this time.
After all, Eden Hazard is better than Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Jose Mourinho
Alex Chick: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal).
Ben Snowball: Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea).
Liam Happe: Eden Hazard (Chelsea).
Dan Quarrell: Diego Costa.

PFA Young player of the Year
Van der Saar, Van Nistelrooy, Van Persie. Can Memphis Depay add his name to the list of great Dutch Manchester United players?
We certainly think so, judging by the votes below.

Liam Happe: Memphis Depay.
Dan Quarrell: Memphis Depay.
Tom Adams: Raheem Sterling (Manchester City).

Which manager will win the sack race?
This is a tough one to call as it depends on how the club starts the season and which chairman has the most twitchy trigger finger.
Most eyes will be on the promoted clubs once again, but if Claudio Ranieri struggles over the first month or so, he might be following Nigel Pearson out of the door at Leicester.
Alex Chick: Dick Advocaat (Sunderland).
Ben Snowball: Quique Flores (Watford).
Liam Happe: Quique Flores.
Dan Quarrell: Claudio Ranieri (Leicester City).
Tom Adams: Claudio Ranieri.
Toby Keel: Alex Neil (Norwich).
Chris Wheatley: Claudio Ranieri.
Desmond Kane: Quique Flores.
Kevin Coulson: Claudio Ranieri.
