Pep Guardiola is set to take his spending to over £100m on players less than a month after he officially took over the Manchester City job.
Having signed Ilkay Gündogan (£21m), Nolito (£13.8m) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (£1.7m) in a £36.5m signing splurge, Guardiola is apparently going to ramp up his shopping spree by landing Schalke midfielder Sane for around £40m which would increase the outlay from City's Abu Dhabi owners to £75.8m, according to the Guardian.
Palmeiras forward Jesus, a Brazilian teenager, could move for £20m while Atlético Nacional’s Colombian forward Moreno is an £8m target.
The three players would see Guardiola's spending increase to £103.8m since he the former Bayern Munich and Barcelona coach succeeded Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium.
City - who face Borussia Dortmund in a friendly in China on Thursday - could also sign Everton and England defender John Stones before the transfer window closes which would see the club pass the £150m mark.
It is an astonishing level of spending by City with Guardiola obviously keen to get his business done early in the transfer market.
