Mourinho makes first signing as Man Utd confirm Eric Bailly capture

The 22-year-old has made 47 appearances for Villarreal since joining in January 2015, and has received 15 caps for the Ivory Coast.

Bailly has reportedly cost in the region of £30 million.

Bailly started his career with Espanyol and joined Villarreal in January 2015

Eric Bailly is young - only 22 - fast, strong, and he's been a key player for Marcelino García Toral. He's fantastic with his head but sometimes unsafe with the ball, and he does have a difficult temper, giving away stupid penalties and picking up unnecessary cards. He has a great future and this is a good transfer for him and for United - but that's a very expensive fee.
