Rotherham's chances of keeping hold of boss Neil Warnock could hinge on whether he decides to chase history next season.

The 67-year-old, whose contract with the Millers expires in the summer, has won seven promotions during a successful career in the dugout and one more will see him top the list outright, ahead of Graham Taylor and Dave Bassett.
He has said he will manage for one more year in the Championship and there is a burning desire inside Warnock to write his name in the record books.
Though performing miracles in his short stay at the New York Stadium so far, turning the club from relegation certainties to mid-table chasers, there is little chance of him doing that with the South Yorkshire outfit.
However, Warnock is also considering remaining in his current position , already holding talks with chairman Tony Stewart.
He is likely to see what, if any, offers come in for him during the summer before making his final decision.
"You've got to put everything in perspective," he said. "But if I'm having only one more season, ideally I'd like to be the only manager that gets eight promotions. And I've told the chairman it would be very difficult at Rotherham. He believes in miracles.
"I think the chairman is planning to get one of those planes with a banner on the back saying 'Warnock is staying'."
Indeed, the clamour for Warnock to stay at Rotherham is strong and the affinity the former player has forged with the club in the last three months could work in their favour.
"I don't just like the club, I like the chairman, and I think I work better when I get on with the chairman," Warnock said. "He knows there are other clubs around at the moment, which is normal after the job myself and the staff have done.
"But it's not always been the lure of the big clubs that has attracted me. If you turn down Chelsea to stay at Notts County, as I did, you're not really a full shilling at times."
