Burton chairman Ben Robinson has paid tribute to the parts played by former managers Gary Rowett and Nigel Clough in the club's rise to League One.
Albion, with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink now in charge, sealed automatic promotion on Saturday with a 2-1 victory at Morecambe.
Hasselbaink has seamlessly carried on the good work started this season by Rowett, who left the Pirelli Stadium in October to become boss at Championship club Birmingham.
Clough, currently manager at Sheffield United, began Burton's story by taking the club into the Football League during his decade at the helm.
"It's been a long journey over the years, starting in the Southern League and the Northern League and we've not forgotten that," Robinson told the Burton Mail.
"We look back on those 10 years that Nigel Clough gave us - he set the foundations and that's the one big reason we're here today and celebrating today. It's about what he did in those 10 brilliant years.
"And Gary Rowett was a great manager for us. Jimmy inherited a marvellous group of players, he's tweaked it and fine tuned it and put his own stamp on it and brought some players in.
"For him to achieve promotion in his first season as a manager is very special."
