Dani Alves set for medical at Juventus

Sky Sport Italia are reporting that the Brazilian full-back will be in Italy tomorrow morning for tests ahead of his proposed move to Juve.

He will arrive as a free agent, having activated a clause in his Barcelona contract that saw him released by the Catalan club a year early.

Alves turned 33 last month and had been with Barcelona since 2008, where he won six La Liga titles, four Copa del Rey crowns and three Champions Leagues.

The Brazilian will be Juve’s second major signing of the summer, following Miralem Pjanic arrival from Roma for €32 million.

Stephan Lichsteiner is the current first-choice Juventus right-back, but has been linked with a summer move away.
