Daniel Osvaldo reportedly told friends he “only wants Juventus, otherwise I’ll stay at Inter,” but it’s up to Southampton.

The striker is on loan at Inter from the Saints, but frozen out after attempting to attack teammate Mauro Icardi during a game and going AWOL from training for two days.
Osvaldo and the club are suing each other for damages over the incidents with the Nerazzurri reportedly asking for as much as €28m compensation.
Now it remains to be seen what Osvaldo will do for the rest of the season, as Inter do not want him at San Siro.
“At the moment my only choice in Europe is Juve,” he told friends according to Tuttosport.
“I want Juve and only Juve. I want to stay for a long time, not passing through. I hope to do well and earn confirmation for next season.”
The Italy international is turning down all other offers, including Hamburg, Torino, Cagliari and Parma.
Southampton paid €17m to take him from Roma, but his notorious temper saw him head-butt teammate Jose Fonte during a training session and get into this scrape at Inter.
He had a successful enough six-month loan spell at Juve last year, but the club decided against the €7m option to make the move permanent.
If not, they have to terminate the loan contract with Southampton and send him back to England so the Saints can negotiate with Juve.
However, Osvaldo does not seem intent on doing that unless he is guaranteed a transfer to Juventus, as he’d rather stay at Inter and pick up his pay cheque in Italy than return to England.
Meanwhile, the Bianconeri have already got a deal in place with Genoa for Alessandro Matri, as confirmed by President Enrico Preziosi last night.
Papers in Italy insist Osvaldo is still first choice, but Matri’s presence means they have the alternative and he could be left high and dry for six months.
