Cesena boss Mimmo Di Carlo hopes to cause an upset against Roma, even if he voted Rudi Garcia Coach of the Year.
“Roma are not in crisis,” insisted Di Carlo in a Press conference.
“They still create numerous scoring opportunities and just aren’t finishing them off at the moment. Garcia did great things since arriving at Roma and I voted for him as Coach of the Year.
“I expect to see a fired up team that wants to defend second place, but we must be hungrier than them, balanced and concentrated.
“It will be important playing on home turf, as the crowd will be our 12th man.”
Cesena are level on points with Cagliari, who were beaten 3-1 by Milan last night, so even a point would take them out of the bottom two.
“When I arrived I had faith, but now I am much more optimistic on our chances of safety. That’s because we play a specific style of football with character and great enthusiasm.”
Franco Brienza, Hordur Magnusson, Riccardo Cazzola, Guido Marilungo, Andrea Tabanelli, Ze Eduardo, Luca Valzania are unavailable for this match.
Cesena squad for Roma: Leali, Nica, Giorgi, Lucchini, Carbonero, De Feudis, Rodriguez, Volta, Krajnc, Djuric, Succi, Mordini, Perico, Capelli, Mudingayi, Agliardi, Gaiola, Moncini, Cascione, Pulzetti, Bressan, Defrel
