Fabio Quagliarella completes Sampdoria return

Fabio Quagliarella is moving to Sampdoria on loan from Torino, the Serie A club have announced.

Quagliarella, who spent one highly successful season at Sampdoria in 2006/07, moved to Torino in the summer of 2014 and scored 18 goals in 50 league games.
“President Massimo Ferrero and UC Sampdoria are delighted to welcome back Fabio Quagliarella,” the Blucerchiati announced in a statement.
"The striker has been signed from Torino FC on loan with an obligation to buy.
"The player, already with Sampdoria for 2006/07 - managing 14 appearances and 14 goals - has chosen shirt number 27.”
Quagliarella’s first match could be against his old team, as Toro visit the Marassi on Wednesday.
