Mancini wants Micah Richards at Inter Milan

Roberto Mancini is eager to reunite with Micah Richards at Inter, as he’s struggling for playing time at Fiorentina.

The ex-Manchester City full-back is currently on loan in Florence, but rarely makes it on to the pitch.

According to Tuttosport, Mancini has specifically requested Richards as a reinforcement for the Nerazzurri defence.

There were some question marks as to whether he could make the transfer, having already played in the Community Shield with Manchester City this season.

Both Tuttosport and La Nazione insist UEFA have given the all-clear for Richards to play for another club during 2014-15.

The question now is whether Vincenzo Montella and Fiorentina want to help strengthen Inter, their direct rivals for European qualification.
