Michael Essien not leaving Milan in January

The agent of Milan midfielder Michael Essien says his client will not leave the Rossoneri in January. The Ghanaian is out of contract in the summer, and has not yet been offered a renewal, but the player’s representative says the former Chelsea midfielder will remain at San Siro until at least June. “Will Michael leave Milan in January? No, he’ll stay,”  Fabien Piveteau assured MilanNews.

“Essien will stay at Milan until June. Many teams like him, and he’s had some contact with other clubs, but he’s signed a contract with Milan and he wants to stay with the Rossoneri until June.”
