Report: Juventus close to Alex Sandro capture

The Bianconeri are looking for a left-back, but appeared to have cooled interest in Guilherme Siqueira of Atletico Madrid in recent days.

Now Gianluca Di Marzio’s website claims Alex Sandro is close to joining the Old Lady, who are close to agreeing a fee of over €20m.

The website believes Sandro refused to renew his contract with the Portuguese side, meaning he could leave for free next summer.

That provided the bargaining position Juventus were looking for, and the Turin giants are currently working on the final details of the agreement.
