Samuel Eto’o 'to have Sampdoria medical on Saturday'

There has been a protracted transfer saga around the Cameroonian, with the Blucerchiati believing a deal had ben struck, while Everton insisted nothing had been formalised.

It was reported yesterday that a deal had finally been agreed, and now Gianluca Di Marzio’s website says Eto’o will undergo a medical in Rome tomorrow.

The site reports that the former Inter man will fly from Liverpool to Rome, and take his medical in the afternoon before heading to Genoa to officially complete the move.
