Paul Pogba: Champions League final with Juventus justifies Man United exit

Paul Pogba has revealed he does not regret leaving Manchester United as he prepares for the Champions League final with Juventus.
The French international left Old Trafford in 2012 after refusing to sign a new deal with Manchester United having been limited to very few first-team appearances.
Pogba has since emerged as one of the hottest young talents in world football after starring for Juventus as the Italian giants claimed a fourth successive Serie A title this year.
The 23-year-old is now at the centre of a reported transfer war between Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City and United, with a fee believed to be in the region of £60 million.
But despite interest from his former club, Pogba has revealed that he made the correct decision to depart Manchester for Turin, with this week’s Champions League final justification for the move.
“Yes, for sure, I am happy with how my time has gone in Turin,” Pogba said. “I don’t regret it at all. I am very happy here and I enjoy it.
“I am in a Champions League final with Juventus, not Manchester, so things have worked out very well for me.”
In recent weeks it has been reported that the France international met with PSG chiefs to discuss a potential move, whilst the likes of Barca and Real weigh up a bid for the youngster, though the player has claimed that he will not let any talk of a potential transfer affect his preparation for Saturday’s showpiece final.
“Let people think what they want to think,” Pogba said, when asked whether the Champions League final would be his last game for Juventus. “This is a final, it is a huge final for me, and I am just focused on that.”
