Grayson's side, 11th in the Sky Bet Championship, host the Gunners in a televised FA Cup third-round tie that kicks off at 5.30pm.
"It's a great game for our supporters, the players as well who are going to be up against some world-class players," Grayson, quoted by Preston's official website, said.
"We are not sure who is going to be in that team but whoever it is they will be international players.
"It's a tough task, but one we will thrive on and really enjoy and look forward to."
He added: "If we cause an upset it would be a massive achievement. It would be up there with some of the results we have had and it would be fantastic for everybody.
"There is a lot we have to do to achieve that.
"But we know we have a chance, because we have some good players, an enthusiasm about us, a desire about us.
"We are not there to make the numbers up, we are going to try and cause an upset."
Arsenal - FA Cup winners 12 times, including in 2013-14 and 2014-15 - famously became known as 'the Invincibles' after they went unbeaten in their triumphant 2003-04 Premier League campaign.
And Grayson is full of respect for the London club's long-serving boss Arsene Wenger, saying: "What he has done for football in this country has been exceptional."
He has also been keen to point out that it was Preston who were originally referred to as 'the Invincibles', having gone unbeaten as they won the league and FA Cup double in 1888-89 under William Sudell.
"People probably only remember the modern-day Invincibles but this football club had the original Invincibles who did so well winning the FA Cup and the league," Grayson said.
"It's all about the past and the present - but ultimately it's about a group of players on Saturday night going out to get the best out of our group, and ask questions of them. "
