Spitfires on course for play-offs

The Spitfires made their first-half dominance count in the 38th minute when Jack Midson put them ahead.

The winger controlled Jai Reason's clever flick and poked the ball past City keeper Paul Farman from six yards out to cap a fine passing move from the visitors.

Lincoln equalised in the 59th minute when Eastleigh failed to clear Alan Power's free-kick and Ben Tomlinson fired home.

But the Spitfires responded within three minutes when Midson teed up McAllister to sweep the ball into the net for the winner.
