Steven Gerrard set for LA Galaxy debut — but no-one has a clue who he is

Former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is one of the most recognisable faces in English football - but the same can't be said for fans from across the pond.

Gerrard was introduced to the LA Galaxy crowd during their game with Toronto FC on Saturday.

The former England international joined the MLS side after 17 years at his hometown club Liverpool, and while everyone on Merseyside knows who the 35-year-old is, the same can't be said for those on the streets of Hollywood.
