Members of the Formula 1 Commission have until Friday to submit their fax vote concerning the 2017 engine regulations.

The Strategy Group and F1 Commission met to discuss the rules on Tuesday ahead of Saturday's deadline to have plans for 2017 finalised.
A proposal that addressed the cost, availability of supply, noise and performance convergence of F1 engines was agreed by the Strategy Group.
However, the F1 Commission did not have a quorum and was unable to vote. It is believed the promoters were not present.
Instead a fax vote is currently being carried out with members having until lunchtime on Friday to have their say.
It is anticipated the proposal will get approval before being put before the World Motor Sport Council for ratification, most likely by fax vote.
Should everything progress as expected, it will mean the end of the road for the independent engine proposal first mooted late last year.
There remains confidence the 2017 rules can get final sign off ahead of Saturday's deadline, which was revised from February 29.
