Red Bull could have to pay a fine up to €30,000 (£23k) for unleashing Max Verstappen in one of its Formula One car on the slopes of Kitzbühel, German-language publication Tiroler Tageszeitung reports.
The energy drinks giant entrusted the Toro Rosso sensation with a 2011 championship-winning RB7 fitted with snow chains last week. The showrun also served as part of the promotion for the 2016 edition of the Austrian Grand Prix.
The only problem is that Red Bull reportedly did not get approval from the local authorities before Verstappen set off on the Hahnenkamm mountain in front of 3,500 spectactors.
Kitzbühel director Michael Berger explained to the Austrian news outlet that a specific permit is required to organise such event lest it can damage the environment.
