Renault and Haas's 2017 Formula 1 cars both made their track debuts with filming day runs at Barcelona on Saturday.
Only Renault released footage and images of its RS17, which was launched in London on Tuesday.
The team had been due to run on Friday initially, but rain cancelled that plan and also led to Jolyon Palmer rather than new signing Nico Hulkenberg being at the wheel for the new car's first laps.
"That was really fun," said Palmer.
"Loads of downforce, loads of grip, a few laps, no hiccups and a big smile on my face."
Haas is keeping its VF-17 under wraps until Sunday, though some images of the car running did leak out on social media.
New Haas driver Kevin Magnussen described the day's work as "filming and doing some interviews and some adverts".
'Filming days' allow teams to carry out shakedowns as well as compiling promotional footage, but they must not exceed 100 kilometres of running and have to use 'demonstration' tyres.
All the 2017 F1 cars yet to be seen in public will be unveiled on Sunday, when both Red Bull and Haas issue images of their new designs and Toro Rosso holds a launch event in the Barcelona pitlane.
Testing then begins at the Spanish Grand Prix venue on Monday.
