Three players from champions Norway were elected to the EHF Euro 2014 team of the tournament while Sweden's Isabelle Gullden was named the most valuable player.
Norway, who claimed their sixth European title with a 28-25 victory over Spain in last weekend's final, were represented in the list by goalkeeper Silje Solberg, Heidi Loke and Nora Mörk.
Centre-back Gullden picked up her personal honour after leading Sweden to the bronze medal match with Montenegro, which they won, while team-mate Sabina Jacobsen was awarded the title of best defensive player of the tournament.
Joining the Norwegian trio in the elite seven from Hungary and Croatia were Denmark left winger Maria Fisker, Romania left-back Cristina Neagu, Danish centre-back Kristina Kristiansen and Spain right wing Carmen Martin.
While fans were polled for the first time to help elect the team of the tournament - over 18,000 votes were cast - the MVP was selected by an expert panel only.
The results were announced before the final day of action, which saw both the gold medal and bronze medal matches played.
