Maple Leafs 5, Canucks 2
Center Peter Holland scored one goal and assisted on another and Jonathan Bernier stopped 44 shots as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Vancouver Canucks.
The Maple Leafs (14-9-3) have won three of the first four games of a four-game homestand.
Vancouver (18-8-1) starting goaltender Ryan Miller was removed in the second period after allowing four goals on 14 shots. Eddie Lack took over and made 13 saves.
The Canucks were 9-1-0 in their 10 previous games against the Maple Leafs.

Blackhawks 3, Predators 1
The Chicago Blackhawks continued their sizzling form when they beat the Nashville Predators for their sixth consecutive victory.
Left winger Brandon Saad scored the first goal and assisted on the game-winner as Chicago (18-8-1) started a four-game road trip in style against the Predators (17-7-2), who fell to 11-2-1 at home.

Blue Jackets 3, Lightning 1
The Columbus Blue Jackets won their third consecutive game when they kept the league's top scoring team to one goal in a road win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Columbus jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period behind goals from center Boone Jenner and defenseman David Savard.

Center Paul Stastny started and completed a comeback from a three-goal deficit as the St. Louis Blues beat the New York Islanders after trailing 3-0 at the end of the first period.
NHL all-time wins leader Martin Brodeur earned his first win with the Blues after making 15 saves in relief of starting goaltender Jake Allen, who allowed three goals on 12 shots in the first period.

Penguins 3, Senators 2
Defenseman Christian Ehrhoff scored in the final two minutes, leading the injury-depleted Pittsburgh Penguins past the Ottawa Senators.
Captain Sidney Crosby snapped a three-game point drought with an assist on the game-winner as Pittsburgh defeated Ottawa for the fifth time in seven games.

Red Wings 3, Rangers 2
Center Darren Helm's goal in the third period broke a tie and gave the Detroit Red Wings a come-from-behind win over the New York Rangers.
The Red Wings, who snapped a five-game losing streak against the Rangers, trailed 2-0 in the second period but rallied to give coach Mike Babcock his 500th career win.

Winger Wayne Simmonds and center Claude Giroux each scored, guiding the Philadelphia Flyers to a road victory over the Los Angeles Kings.
The Flyers (9-13-4) captured their fourth win in a row on the Kings' ice and beat Los Angeles (14-8-5) for the eighth time in their last 11 meetings.

Alex Ovechkin registered just one shot on goal for only the third time this season, but the Washington Capitals overcame the lack of production from their star left winger and beat the New Jersey Devils.

Tyler Seguin scored twice and Jamie Benn assisted on both Seguin goals as the Dallas Stars halted a four-game winless streak with a victory over the Montreal Canadiens.

Roberto Luongo lost his three game shutout streak against the Buffalo Sabres, but he and the Florida Panthers still earned a victory as center Nick Bjugstad's rebound goal with 16.2 seconds left in the second period was the game-winner.

The Boston Bruins avoided a winless road trip (1-3) with a victory over the Arizona Coyotes. The loss was the seventh straight for Arizona (0-5-2) on home ice, the longest home losing streak in franchise history, eclipsing six-game skids in 2007 and 2009.

Center Patrick Marleau's goal midway through the third period gave San Jose victory over the Calgary Flames as the Sharks won their fourth in a row. The loss halted Calgary's four-game win streak.
