Tampa Bay's Callahan returns to haunt Rangers

Ryan Callahan scored twice in his return to Madison Square Garden as the Tampa Bay Lightning thumped the New York Rangers 5-1.

Callahan was with the Rangers organisation from 2004 until last season when he was dealt at the trade deadline to Tampa Bay along with draft picks in exchange for Martin St. Louis.

Lightning center Steven Stamkos scored his 12th goal of the season, while Nikita Kucherov and Alex Killorn added goals for Tampa Bay.
