How do you feel pre-season went?
It went well. I’m feeling fine physically better than the last year when I was injured. However, we have had to work more than last season to configure the motorcycle. Last year, the bike worked fine immediately. The situation now is that we have a good bike and we will try to fight for the victories.
Do you think this year is going to be a harder World Championship?
In my opinion, the main rival for the Championship will be Yamaha and my team-mate Pedrosa. Ducati will be there too, though maybe not all the time - for example, in Qatar they're going to be fighting for the victory. It is good for the sport to have many people challenging for the title.
Will your riding style be more conservative this year?
It is difficult to say. I have been always a brave rider and I head into every weekend with the intention of winning the race. I will go out to win and then to see what happens.
Will it be tough to repeat last year’s success?
I remember the most important of them: 13 victories, 13 poles, 10 consecutive victories in MotoGP. It was great; it´s going to be quite hard to repeat.
Do you think that will be able to match the records of Valentino Rossi, or those of Nieto and Agostini?
I don’t want to think about it - people say that I can do it, but prefer not to think about it. I have four titles and what Rossi has done is incredible far for me – the same goes for Nieto and Agostini.
Would you like to race for another team?
Not at this time, it is not something that I think about. I´m fine - I've just extended my contract until the end of 2016. I feel valued by Honda, where my idols have raced and where the projects we have ahead are motivating.
Would you like to try your hand at other sport like the F1 or rallies?
It is a risk because the winners of other sports like F1 or Rallies are racers that have been with a kart since they were a child. It´s unlikely that a motorbike racer could to challenge for the title but it would be a great experience.
Do you think your brother Alex could beat you?
No one is invincible. Everyone is human and makes mistakes. Everyone has faults but the thing is to find out them and to try to eliminate.
Which attributes from Rossi, Lorenzo or Pedroza´s would you like to have?
I would like to have Rossi’s experience and Lorenzo’s smoothness on track. And, I think Pedrosa has many talents. MotoGP is difficult and Dani, with his body, is amazing and sometimes invincible in many of tracks.

What are the thoughts for the start of the World Championship in Qatar?
I feel good, we want the season to start now. The tests are always good but my favourite part remains the race. Surely this season will be different to the last, but we will know more after the first race. The new Ducati looks good, as does the Yamaha.
Is Marquez the toughest team-mate of your career?
Marc is really a very good competitor, but all my team-mates have been competitive.
In 2005 you won the last title. Can you again?
I've been twice very close and I had some problem in another season. But the races are the races.
