Elise Christie takes first World Cup victory in Seoul

Elise Christie took her first title of the season on Saturday at the Short Track Speed Skating World Cup in Seoul.

Christie, who became the first British woman to win a World Championship gold earlier this year, beat Italy's Martina Valcepina in the 500m after a false start.

After overtaking the Italian, Christie recorded a finish time of 43.27 seconds.

Christie is one of Team GB's high hopes for medals at next year's Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

Earlier this year she won The Times Sportswoman of the Year award after becoming a triple champion in March.
