2013 World Championship finalist Barry Hawkins has enjoyed an outstanding opening session in this year's tournament, building a 7-2 lead over Matthew Selt.

After the first four frames were shared, Hawkins accelerated away from the world number 30 with breaks of 91, 64, 70 and 65.
Hawkins was on the end of a 4-0 whitewashing from Selt when they met at the World Grand Prix just over a month ago, but put any bad memories to rest with a very dominant end to the session.
The world number five needs just three more frames when the match resumes at 10:00 BST on Monday.
