Liam Highfield claims Mark Selby scalp

Highfield sunk two half-century breaks en route to an early 2-0 lead, but Selby responded with two frames of his own to restore parity.

The pair then traded frames five and six to force a decider, which Highfield took 59-17.

Highfield will meet Mark Williams in the next round on Sunday. Williams eased past Peter Lines without conceding a frame.

Belgian teenager Luca Brecel booked his spot in the last 16 with a 4-1 win over Alex Davies, while Stuart Carrington fought back from 3-1 behind to defeat Ross Muir 4-3.
