Ronnie O'Sullivan booked his place in the semi-finals of the Masters with a narrow 6-5 victory over Ken Doherty at Wembley. The flamboyant Englishman saved his first century break of the match for the final frame, compiling a decisive 115.
O'Sullivan took a 2-0 lead but was immediately pegged back by the Irishman, before the players traded frames to 4-4.
Doherty registered three breaks of more than 70, and moved to within a frame of the last four with an 81 to make it 5-4.
A gritty tenth frame performance allowed O'Sullivan to level, before his superb century sent Doherty packing.
The former world champion will play either Shaun Maguire or current Grand Prix champion Neil Robertson in the next round.
The pair start their quarter-final at 19:00 CET (18:00 GMT) with live scoring and audio commentary on eurosport.com!
