Ronnie O’Sullivan sunk a century and a 94 as he won the final two frames to beat Stuart Bingham 6-5 and reach the final of the UK Championship.
The four-time champion battled back from an early 4-1 deficit with breaks of 62, 68 and 67, but was soon facing elimination again when Bingham took the ninth frame.
The Rocket steadied to draw level with a fine century before clinching victory in the decisive 11th frame.
He wasn’t quite at his fluid best though, somehow managing to balloon the cue ball off the table during his semi-final.
He will face either Judd Trump in the final after the 2011 champion beat Stephen Maguire 6-4.
