Victory for Trump would set up a meeting with O'Sullivan the following day at the same time.
"I've never played Ronnie in a tournament before, so it would be one of the biggest moments of my career so far," said Trump, who is the youngest player to make a 147 break and the third youngest, after O'Sullivan and Stephen Hendry, to play at the Crucible.
"He's come down to my club to practise once or twice and I played well against him. If the balls are there you know you have to pot everything, otherwise you'll get punished.
"But I've got Swail first and I'm just concentrating on that game because it will be difficult. I've played him once before, in the round robin stage of the Royal London Watches Grand Prix, and I lost 3-2, but this is a best-of-nine so it's totally different."
Trump, considered one of snooker's top prospects, is now in his third professional season, and has climbed to number 46 in the provisional rankings, with a chance to go higher as he is also through to the final qualifying round of the 888.com World Snooker Championship.
"At the moment I'm only getting to one or two venues each season, and it's tough when you get there because you are not used to the conditions," admitted the teenager.
"My target is to get to venues more consistently, once I'm playing at four or five a season it will be a lot easier.
"Obviously getting up the rankings will help. I think I'm too far behind the top 32 to have a chance of getting there for next season, but hopefully I can get there for the following year."
The tournament runs from February 11 to 17 at the Newport Centre and features snooker's top 32 players plus 16 qualifiers. World Champion John Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, Steve Davis, Mark Selby, Welsh favourites Mark Williams, Ryan Day and Matthew Stevens and defending champion Neil Robertson will be among those battling for the title.
