The sporting wedding of the year has taken place in Scotland, with Andy Murray wearing a traditional kilt as he got hitched to long-term partner Kim Sears.
Fans lined the streets in their thousands to welcome Murray and Sears as they arrived at the cathedral in Dunblane, the Scottish town where the former Wimbledon and US Open champion grew up.
And as the happy couple emerged from the church, huge cheers rang out - not just in Dunblane, but across Scotland as the nuptials described as "Scotland's Royal Wedding" took place in fine weather and amid scenes of great joy.
Kim Sears wore a "Swarovski crystal-encrusted gown by Jenny Packham", according to Hello magazine, with a "Swarovski crystal Kalmia floral headdress" and a pair of "Jimmy Choo strappy heels" - though a few drops of rain fell as she entered the church, leading her quartet of bridesmaids to pop umbrellas up quickly.
The rain did not last long and Andy Murray's mother Judy, the British Fed Cup captain, waved joyfully to the crowd as she watched her son get married to a girlfriend he first met at the age of 17.
One of Murray's three best men Ross Hutchins, who recently won a battle with cancer, smiled for the crowds as he got out of the wedding car.
Tim Henman and his wife Lucy were among the well-wishers at the ceremony.
And the whole of Dunblane was in the carnival spirit as the wedding took place.
