The defending champion has never lost a semi-final or final in Melbourne, and is the red hot favourite.
But Kerber will be no pushover: she waltzed past another of the favourites, Victoria Azarenka, earlier this week, and knows what it takes to beat Serena having taken her down once in their seven meetings. It should be a cracking final.
And if that is not enough action for you, then second up on Rod Laver Arena is Jamie Murray and Brazilian partner Bruno Soares in the final of the men's doubles against veteran duo Daniel Nestor and Radek Stepanek. Nestor and Stepanek have a combined age of 80, but have swept all before them so far. Can Murray win a doubles grand slam again after falling short in the finals at Wimbledon and New York last season - and in so doing, set the stage for his brother to win the singles title on Sunday?
Watch every shot of all these matches, and full multi-court coverage of the entire Australian Open, live on the Eurosport Player and TVEurosport.
