Ninth-seeded Croatian Marin Cilic unleashed 22 aces and 62 winners in his second-round win at Wimbledon on Thursday, bundling out unseeded Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky 6-2 6-7(6) 6-4 6-4 in just under three hours of hard-hitting tennis.

Cilic, who won the 2014 US Open and equalled his best All England Club result last year by reaching the quarter-finals, sailed through the first set with two breaks of serve.
The 94th-ranked Ukrainian took the second set on a tiebreak when Cilic's radar went awry in two consecutive baseline rallies.
But the Croatian, who lost in three sets to world number two Andy Murray in the semi-final of the Wimbledon warm-up event at Queen's Club, was relatively untroubled thereafter, sealing victory with a service game to love.
Cilic next plays 120th-ranked Slovakian qualifier Lukas Lacko who tamed big-serving Croat Ivo Karlovic.
Milos Raonic had to make do without his grasscourt guru John McEnroe but managed just fine as he overpowered Italy's Andreas Seppi 7-6(5) 6-4 6-2.
The Canadian sixth seed equalled the fastest serve seen at Wimbledon this year, firing down one 142mph rocket to match the delivery served by Australian Sam Groth in round one.
The fastest serve ever recorded at the All England Club was hit at 148mph by American Taylor Dent six years ago.
His second serve was not much slower either as the former semi-finalist produced an impressive show of force.
Three-times Wimbledon champion McEnroe, hired by Raonic to fine-tune his grasscourt game, was not there to witness it, however, as he had TV commentating commitments.
Bernard Tomic, seeded 19th, beat Radu Albot of Moldova 7-6 6-3 6-7 6-3, while Richard Gasquet of France, seeded seventh, took four sets to beat Marcel Granollers, 4-6 7-5 6-3 6-1.
David Ferrer crashed out 6-1 6-4 6-3 to Nicolas Mahut, and Benoit Paire at least managed to get one set on the board as he fell at the hands of Australia's John Millman, 7-6 6-3 4-6 6-2.
