Zivojinovic reached the 1985 Australian Open semi finals as well as the 1986 Wimbledon semis and has watched as Novak Djokovic, Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic all reached the same stage at Roland Garros this week.
"It is hard to find the right words to describe what Serbia has achieved at Roland Garros, it is quite simply fantastic and stunning," he said after Djokovic's straight sets dismissal of Russian Igor Andreev.
"I'm sure he will go on to win a grand slam as he is only 20 and such a masterful player already with his whole career in front of him."
Djokovic will have his work cut out to reach the final when comes up against two time defending champion Rafael Nadal in the semis. Jankovic will face world number one Justine Henin while Ivanovic meets US Open champion and Australian Open runner up Maria Sharapova.
"Of course I also can't stress enough how well the girls too have done in Paris, they are in the focus of everyone's attention and so is Serbia," Zivojinovic continued.
"On top of that, Nenad Zimonjic has reached the semi finals in the men's and mixed doubles so it's fair to say we are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with."
