This is the moment when Rob Huff effectively won the first FIA World Touring Car Championship race to take place in Morocco.

Driving a Chevrolet Cruze, the Briton converted his pole position into victory at Marrakech’s Circuit Moulay El Hassan in May 2009.

He headed home a quartet of SEAT racers, including Gabriele Tarquini, Yvan Muller and Tiago Monteiro.

Huff’s Chevrolet team-mate Nicola Larini, who placed sixth in Race 1, took the Race 2 laurels for his first WTCC triumph after Jörg Müller ran wide while leading. Muller and Huff completed the podium.

Marrakech hosts this year’s season-opening WTCC Race of Morocco from 7-9 April.
