Niels Hintermann of Switzerland took victory in the downhill World Cup race in Kvitfjell, finishing ahead of Vincent Kriechmayr of Austria and Canada's Cameron Alexander. It was a surprisingly disappointing day for Marco Odermatt, who finished down in seventh.
