Noens goes under knife

The 22-year-old tore her anterior cruciate ligament during training at the beginning of March in the Czech Republic.

Despite sustaining the injury, Noens still travelled to the finale of the World Cup season in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, last week.

She even managed to finish ninth, her sixth top 10 result of the winter, during which she posted her first podium at Flachau in January.

The French Skiiing Federation said Noens will now take the next six months to fully recuperate from the operation.
