Federica Brignone claimed gold at the super-G in Val d'Isere to close the gap to overall FIS Alpine Ski World Cup leader Mikaela Shiffrin. The Italian finished ahead of Norway's Kajsa Vickhoff Lie, who took silver, while Sofia Goggia took bronze on a good day for the Italy team. Brignone is now 63 points behind Shiffrin in the overall standings.
