Shiffrin trailed Wendy Holdener after the first run, but produced a typically top-drawer second run to take the win in Andorra, with Holdener finishing third and Petra Vlhova taking second.

'One of the best... maybe of all time!' - Shiffrin claims 60th career win

Her Slalom Crystal Globe was already secured, but victory ensured that Shiffrin fittingly received her trophy following another win, finishing with a 97-point lead on Vlhova.
The 24-year-old American had already claimed the World Cup titles for Overall and Super-G, and is favourite to add the Giant Slalom globe to her season's tally to become the first skier ever to win all four in the same season..
Victory meant Shiffrin, who sealed the Super-G World Cup title for the season on Thursday, is closing in on the women's record of 82 World Cup race wins set by compatriot Lindsey Vonn, who retired this season at the age of 34.
Shiffrin's victory in Andorra made it 56 World Cup titles all told in her career to-date, third in the all-time standings and putting her well on course to break Lindsey Vonn's record of 82.
Speaking after her win in Soldeu, Shiffrin said:
I already had the globe when I came here today, so I was just skiing to be aggressive and produce my best. I made some mistakes, but the second run it was just a battle even to stay on the course. Wendy did the same and made a little mistake on the bottom, the same as I did but maybe a little bit more. It's just a really amazing day to be racing.
